Halloween Scattergories printable
Have you ever played Scattergories before? It’s a really fun game that can help kids build their vocabulary skills and think independently.
For this game, you’ll need one printed out page and a pencil or pen per player.
With this Halloween Scattergories printable, there will be 5 different rounds of the game.
In the first round, players will need to think of a word that starts with the letter “G” for each of the categories that are listed.
For example, a sport that starts with “G” could be gymnastics, golf, or gymkata.
You’ll definitely want to set a time limit for each round. One to two minutes should be enough.
When the time is up, everyone takes turn comparing their lists.
If more than one person has written the same answer, they don’t get a point for their word, so it’s a great idea for players to be unique and original!

Finally, players can get bonus points by using an adjective that also begins with the same letter.
For example, for a book that starts with “G,” Anne of Green Gables could be worth two points (as long as no one else thinks of it!).
Once the “G” round is completed, it’s time to move on to the “H” round and so on until the last round of words that will begin with “T.”
